Sawn
Sawn surface is a semi-smooth surface. It is achieved by using a gang saw or a circular saw. Saw cut finish has acquired its name owing to the saw cuts that are made on the surface of stone. When the stones are broken free of the cut layer, they are shaped to uniform size. Saw Cut finish offers complimentary accent to other types of stone work. It is generally used for walls, gate entries, patios, landscape design applications, etc. |

Honed
Honed finish is produced by grinding a surface with high grit material to a uniform specification, without producing a reflective surface. Colors in honed finish are not as vibrant as polished stones. This finish is characterized with smooth finish and a slight sheen produced by using a polishing head. This surface is very smooth, but often very porous. This finish is often used on walking surfaces and other areas where heavy traffic would wear off a polished finish. Honed finishes are used in exterior & interior wall covering, table tops, residential flooring, novelty items, etc.? |

Polished
Polished surface texture is a reflection of polished crystals that bring out the brilliant colors and grains of natural stones. The shine on stone surface comes from polishing bricks and powders used during fabrication. Polishing can be done only on crystallized stones and doesn`t affect the porosity of the stone. Polished finish is quite popular as it enhances the color and markings of the material. A stone with a polished finish is very smooth and reflective. The most popular uses of polished stone are in interior and exterior wall cladding, interior and exterior paving, fireplace facing and hearth, lavatory tops, residential & commercial countertops, table tops, novelty items, many non-architectural applications. |

Leather
Leather finish involves honing the stone surface and then subjecting stone to diamond polishing making the stone denser, smooth and less porous. This is a premium finish used to application in interior and exterior wall cladding, countertops, table tops, novelty items etc. |

Flammed
Flaming consists of passing a nozzle emitting high-temperatures and a high-speed flame over the stone surface. This finish is processed before cutting to size as it can only be processed on big surfaces. The temperature shock causes the eruption of the grains on the surface, and the surface becomes rugged and irregular with no
sharp edges. The colors of the flamed stone are usually less intense, more
toned down than the colors of polished stone. In veined stone with a lot of
movement and pattern, flaming reduces the perception of veining as opposed to
polishing, which intensifies the movement in veined stone. It is generally used for walls, gate entries, patios, landscape design applications, etc |

Sand Blasted
Sandblasting removes the top surface layer of a material by using compressed air or water to direct abrasives toward the surface at high speeds producing a finish similar to cleft. ?It is characterized by a textured surface with a matte gloss. It is generally used for walls, gate entries, patios, landscape design applications, etc. |
|
|
Shot Blasted
Shot blasting involved blasting of stone surface with small iron balls at high speeds on surface of stone under factory condition, it is used on harder stones which have little effect when finished using sand. Shot blasting removes the top surface layer of a material and giving stone similar rough surface. It is generally used for walls, gate entries, patios, landscape design applications, etc. |

Bush Hammered
Bush hammering is the process of providing dense and grooved surface to the stone by a pounding action that develops a textured surface. The top surface is pneumatically tooled to produce a pitted or grooved surface finish. |
|
|
Brushed
Bushing is the process of providing smooth surface to hard surface of stone; it is achieved by use of brushing tool on surface of stone to provide matt and smooth finish. This finish is secondary finish done on natural, sandblasted, shot blasted and flamed stone surfaces. It is generally used for walls, gate entries, patios, landscape design applications, etc. |

Natural
Natural surface texture is achieved by ripping along its line of cleavage to reveal the natural grain & texture, which gives an undulating surface with great character.
The surface comes with natural clefts giving a very natural look. It is generally
used for walls, patios, landscape design applications, etc. |

Tumbled
Tumbling is a process of providing vintage and rivened surface to stone. Tumbling is usually done on natural finished stone to creates an uneven, natural looking rounded edge, as well as a textured surface. It is generally used for walls, patios, landscape design applications, etc |
